Tallest Building in Maine, say what!?

1/18/23

The housing shortage—is on everyone’s mind, increasingly so in Maine. Maine Real Estate and Development Association (MEREDA) works on this issue every day, and is our best chance of having the information we need to solve this crisis. And yes, we said crisis…when a city is not affordable, diverse, or inaccessible to new generations we have a problem.

An active member, chair of the Events Committee, and now Vice President of the Board of Directors of MEREDA, founder of Hay Runner, Shannon Richards enthusiastically brings these important issues, and people that can solve them to the table. MEREDA’s sole mission is to promote a fair environment for responsible development and ownership of real estate throughout the state. This upcoming season of gatherings, content and conversations will be robust. Stay tuned. We will make sure you are in the know.

2023 Conference

If there is one event that can identify where we’ve been and where we are going, in the near future - this is it.
— Shannon Richards

Over 900 of the state’s leading real estate experts are expected to attend MEREDA’s Signature Event being held on January 26, 2023 at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland. This unique conference brings together the largest gathering of commercial real estate professionals in Maine, and is specifically geared toward developers, brokers, architects, bankers, attorneys, accountants and other industry professionals.

This conference assembles some of Maine’s top real estate leaders to provide an economic overview and outlook on the profession’s key economic indicators, along with the popular market overview by property type, focusing on both commercial and residential real estate forecasts.

We will see you there.
