This is the time we bring a designer and a builder together to understand all the moving parts and offer the client a realistic look at approach and feasibility. Our expertise, at this time in a project, is valuable because we will evaluate whether or not the ideas are reasonable - and whether we can realistically match a client's scope with a timeline and budget. This is the most important time in the project to align expectations and take your time to really make sure you are on the right track. It’s important to note that our builder staff is involved from day-one and will help all the way through completion.

This is the time when we work on a project that is realistic and understood. We know we can legally do the work (zoning), we know we are on a realistic budgetary path, and understand that a project is moving towards a permit and contract for construction.

This is when we work on matching the scope of work with subcontractor bids and material take-offs in order to create a contract. During this phase we have taken the drawings far enough, and have enough information to create a contract and move into production. We then take production all the way through completion and into warranty. Generally, this is the longest phase of the project - and it’s important to note that the design team is still heavily involved in decision making and clarifications all the way through to the end.
