Hay Runner Sponsors “Women Build,” MidCoast Habitat for Humanity’s Signature Event

For a week in early May, women come together to volunteer and bring hope to a local community. This year’s Women Build brought the volunteer team together at Midcoast Habitat for Humanity’s new Compass Point neighborhood in Rockport. In addition to sponsoring the event, Hay Runner’s Shannon Richards joined the group as a volunteer. This signature event brings women together for a hands-on week of building, connection, and collective impact in support of affordable homeownership, ending with a dance party celebration. Hay Runner has supported Habitat for Humanity for many years.

Midcoast Habitat for Humanity, located in Rockport, is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization. Habitat International, founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple and decent place to live in dignity and safety. Midcoast Habitat brings people together to build hope, homes and community.
