This Mid-Coast Maine renovation thoughtfully reimagines the home’s kitchen, bathrooms, and floors with a focus on materiality, light, and refined detail. Our design-build team balanced classic proportions with fresh, modern elements to create spaces that feel both timeless and quietly distinctive.

The kitchen was redesigned as a welcoming gathering space, anchored by a generous island and unified by warm wood flooring that carries throughout the main living areas. Neutral cabinetry, hand-laid tile, and thoughtfully chosen brass fixtures add depth and texture, while natural light and clean sightlines reinforce the home’s calm, coastal sensibility.

In the bathrooms, layered materials create moments of character and comfort. Patterned wallpaper, sculptural tile, and custom millwork bring warmth and personality, while glass block introduces light and privacy in a way that feels both nostalgic and modern. Brass fixtures and carefully proportioned details elevate each space, creating bathrooms that feel considered, enduring, and serene.

Throughout the renovation, craftsmanship, texture, and a restrained palette work together to celebrate thoughtful design—resulting in interiors that feel cohesive, refreshed, and deeply rooted in place.
